The career of Dr. Mohamad H. Qari in Medicine started after graduation in 1987.
He was appointed as demonstrator after completion of his internship, later he finished his fellowship training and was awarded the Royal Australian Fellowship followed by appointment as Assistant Professor in Hematology Department.
His position now is associate professor of Hematology and his scientific career is full of teaching and research in the fields of hematology, thrombosis & hemostasis and transfusion medicine, he has more than 30 published papers in the International Scientific Journals and he is a Co-author in several books including the only Arabic reference book in hematology: "Hematology: clinical & laboratory Study".
Dr. Qari has been elected in 2007 as president of the Saudi Hematology Society and was renewed as Chairman of Hematology Department by his Excellency the president of King Abdulaziz University. Among the interest he has is the study of Sickle Cell Anemia, thrombosis and hemostasis. He is supervising several master & Ph D student and researchers in this field.
